"Taron's Web" is a concept of my own, relating to previous set ideas Wizards has come up with on their own. Taron, being the name of an undead Planeswalker the set is fixed around.
The cards and what they do are based around a deck of my own, that I decided I wanted to take to the next level. The deck I created from real magic cards, crippled my opponents with an overabundance of enchantments, and was solely based on creature regeneration, and stacking mana to constantly trigger enchantments. It worked well-- and I decided I wanted to have some more fun with it by creating a set of my own. I never plan to use them in any way--- Really, it was just a good idea I wanted to roll with. I find it relaxing to pay homage to such a great game with my own ideas. Even though, that's all they'll ever be.
Some cards don't make sense. But that's okay. It's mostly about the illustrations to me-- and giving the illustrations abilities, and flavor texts. I don't aim to be the next Geekologie.com target. I aim to do what I love to do. Draw. And bring life to my illustrations by giving them texts and abilities that Wizards of the Coast supplied to the world so many years ago. I like to think others enjoy it as well.
The set symbol comes from my series of books. Two crosses merged together; the upside-down cross, and the right-side up cross. In my novel series, "Our Falling Kingdoms", having this symbol tattooed on your body, or having it on a necklace, is a kind way of asking God to "give you privacy." It too, has no real relation to the cards and what they do; it is simply just another part of my 'art' world. And my imagination portal.
This page is due to update! As you can see, there isn't much here yet. But I'm hoping to have more to put here very soon.
